The Mexican drug cartels are finally meeting their match as a wave of cannabis legalization efforts drastically reshapes the drug trafficking landscape in the United States. It turns out that as states legalize cannabis use and cultivation, the volume of weed brought across the border by Mexican drug cartels dramatically decreases — and is putting a dent in their cash flow.
A newly-released statistical report from the U.S. Border Patrol shows a sharp drop-off in cannabis captured at the border between the United States and Mexico. The reduction in weed trafficking coincides with dozens of states embracing cannabis use for both medical and recreationalpurposes.
In December, Nicole and Ernie Nunez brought their beautiful baby girl, Amylea, into the world. However, when they brought her home, things quickly took a turn for the worst.
“About a day after we went home from delivery is when she had her first seizure,” Nicole said. “She has a rare form of epilepsy. They don’t know exactly the type.”
“The medication she’s on is hard for her liver, and so we’re trying to do something different that’s not so bad on her body,” Ernie said, explaining why the couple has decided to use cannabis oil.
When the family heard about the seemingly miraculous effects of the cannabis oil known as Charlotte’s Web, they became hopeful and set out to get it for their daughter.

38-year-old father of one, Kieran McCrory, was given the cryptic diagnosis that he had 9 months to live, about two years ago. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
After taking cannabis oil for a year, the father was told he “no longer needed treatment,” in stark contrast to the doctor’s original prediction that he would only have 9 months to live. He saved his own life illegally.
His tumor has stopped growing, and he’s going to keep taking cannabis oil for the rest of his life for good measure, he says. He is from Northern Ireland, Omagh.
On Darren Miller’s 50th birthday, he received the devastating news of a lung and pericardial heart sac cancer diagnosis in which he was given about one year to live – and that was with chemotherapy. However, the Illinois resident was having nothing to do with death sentences. Instead, he and his wife moved to California where he was able to use cannabis oil. While there, he even learn how to make it himself.
The results just seven months later?
He’s now cancer-free, and the chemo-related blisters on his hands and feet are a thing of the past. Miller even has the medical records to support this clean bill of health.
Straight from the horses mouth. THC does help in the treatment of cancer. Why do they not just grow their own? Why do they have to genetically engineer it?
Answers on a postcard to, WeWantToOwnEverything.
An active ingredient typically found in cannabis has been genetically engineered in the lab for the first time.
Scientists in Germany have created a strain of yeast that makes the plant’s primary psychoactive chemical, tetrahydrocannabinol or THC.
They believe the breakthrough will lead to more effective and easier-to-manufacture cancer and HIV drugs and now hope to perfect the technique.
Keep signing those Petitions, they really give you the illusion of choice
The Tory government has responded to a petition campaigning for the legalisation of cannabis in Britain, but it looks like they’re ending the debate before it’s even started.
The petition has garnered well over 200,000 seals of approval, twice as many as the 100,000 required to ensure parliament allocate time for a debate. It is now the second most popular petition on the parliament website, following closely behind a bid to get Jeremy Hunt (the Health Secretary) sacked.
Substantial scientific evidence shows cannabis is a harmful drug that can damage human health. There are no plans to legalise cannabis as it would not address the harm to individuals and communities.

Unlike alcohol that can be controlled and taxed
Have any preclinical (laboratory or animal) studies been conducted usingCannabis or cannabinoids?
Preclinical studies of cannabinoids have investigated the following activities:
- Studies in mice and rats have shown that cannabinoids may inhibit tumor growth by causing cell death, blocking cell growth, and blocking the development of blood vessels needed by tumors to grow. Laboratory andanimal studies have shown that cannabinoids may be able to kill cancer cells while protecting normal cells.
- A study in mice showed that cannabinoids may protect against inflammation of the colon and may have potential in reducing the risk of colon cancer, and possibly in its treatment.
- A laboratory study of delta-9-THC in hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) cells showed that it damaged or killed the cancer cells. The same study of delta-9-THC in mouse models of liver cancer showed that it had antitumoreffects. Delta-9-THC has been shown to cause these effects by acting on molecules that may also be found in non-small cell lung cancer cells and breast cancer cells.
- A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in estrogen receptor positive andestrogen receptor negative breast cancer cells showed that it caused cancer cell death while having little effect on normal breast cells. Studies in mouse models of metastatic breast cancer showed that cannabinoids may lessen the growth, number, and spread of tumors.
While Marijuana, a plant that no one has ever overdosed on is illegal. The food and drug administration have approved a (CD) controlled drug, which is given to cancer patients for extreme pain control and is highly addictive, for 11 year old children to get of their heads on.
Try giving your child hemp oil which will not harm them at all, but is highly effective, you run the risk of going to prison and having your children taken off you and put in to care
Politicians feign concern about ‘dangers’ of cannabis; silent about pain medications that kill thousands
Popular over-the-counter painkiller medications from the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class, which includes ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB), have been found in a new large-scale international study to significantly increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or dying from cardiovascular disease.
Researchers found that people who regularly take ibuprofen or aspirin (Bayer, Bufferin, Excedrin) have about a 33% increased risk of suffering a major cardiovascular event such as a heart attack, compared to people who don’t use these drugs. Based on their dangers, NSAIDs are now considered to be as “equally hazardous,” say researchers, as COX-2 inhibitor drugs like Vioxx, which was pulled off the market in 2004 after killing thousands of users.
‘Groundbreaking research published in the respected journal JAMA Internal Medicine has revealed new benefits to the denouement of marijuana prohibition throughout the U.S. It turns out that states where medical cannabis use is no longer a criminal offense are reporting substantially fewer deaths associated with pharmaceutical painkiller use, suggesting that more people in legalized states are turning to the safe cannabis herb for pain relief rather than Big Pharma’s death pills.
